Hunter Bible Church ran its annual summer mission, Wave Kids Club, over a week in January 2019. A team of 150 volunteers ran sessions for children and their parents presenting the gospel through games, talks, crafts and conversations. Over the week the team had engaged with over 600 kids and their families.
Everyone serving on the Wave team needed to be trained in safe ministry practices, screened for suitability and have their WWCC verified though the office of the children’s guardian. The team were all trained, screened and verified using SafeMinistryCheck.com.au. Using the online tools and elvanto syncing features cut down the admin time needed to ensure that training screening and verification was completed and now all those records are safely stored ready for next years Wave team preparations.
